Profile: As a mercenary, Marc Spector was paid well for his services and accepted the most dangerous missions. After almost dying in Egypt, he was brought before a statue of the god Khonshu, who visited him and revived him. He became Khonshu's champion Moon Knight, ending his mercenary life and using his fortune to fund his heroics. The role as Khonshu's avatar caused Spector great mental stress, becoming more violent, and forming split personalities based on disguises he used in his adventures. Despite this, Moon Knight still continues his battle, even as his sanity dwindles.
